Game Viability Judging Criteria

When we receive a game for AirConsole, we have a variety of criteria that determine whether the game will be launched in the store, and whether it is good enough to be featured.

Basic Requirements

What your game needs in order to be published in the AirConsole web store.

  • There are no major bugs. The game has been tested thoroughly across Android and iOS controllers and various desktop browsers.
  • Your game passes the AirConsole checklist.
  • You have read our Best Practices guide and adapted your game accordingly.
  • You have read our guide on Smartphone Controllers and follow the basic do’s and don’ts.
  • Your game doesn’t infringe on copyright and is free of content that is deceptive, misleading, false or threatening.

Advanced Requirements

What your game needs in order to be featured at the top of the AirConsole store or win one of our game development contests.

  • Your game has a consistent and appealing visual style
  • Your game has fitting sound effects and music
  • Your game has replay value and is interesting to play for longer than a few minutes
  • Your game’s controls are completely intuitive and make sense for the platform
  • Your game is easily understandable or has a good tutorial
